Welcome to Easy Basic Science. Since we provide digital educational courses (video lessons, PDFs, quizzes) and live tutor services (one-on-one or group sessions), we strictly adhere to a No Refund policy. By purchasing from our website, you agree to the terms below.
1. DIGITAL COURSES (Pre-Recorded & Self-Paced)
All educational courses, study materials, PDFs, video content, and digital downloads sold on easybasicscience.com are non-refundable and non-returnable.
- Instant Access: Because you gain immediate access to the course content upon purchase (or upon account activation), we cannot offer refunds for “change of mind,” “lack of time to study,” or “content does not match learning style.”
- Completion: Finishing the course does not entitle you to a refund.
- Technical Requirements: It is your responsibility to ensure you have a stable internet connection and a compatible device to access our courses. We do not refund due to user-side technical issues.
2. LIVE TUTORING SESSIONS (1-on-1 & Group Classes)
Payments made for tutoring sessions are payments for the tutor’s allocated time and expertise. As such, we do not offer refunds for sessions that have been delivered.
- Completed Sessions: Once a tutoring session has been attended (by you or your dependent), no refund will be issued, regardless of satisfaction with the lesson.
- Missed Sessions (“No Shows”): If you fail to join a scheduled session without prior notice, the session is marked as “attended” and is forfeited. No refund or reschedule will be provided.
- Late Arrivals: Tutors will wait for up to 15 minutes. If you arrive after this window, the session will be considered forfeited, and no refund will be given.
3. CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING (For Tutoring Only)
While we do not refund, we do allow rescheduling under specific conditions:
- Notice Required: You may reschedule a tutoring session at no extra cost if you cancel or request a change at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time.
- Late Cancellations: Cancellations made within 24 hours of the session start time will not be rescheduled or refunded, as the tutor has already reserved that time exclusively for you.
- Group Classes: Rescheduling is not available for group classes; missed group sessions cannot be made up.
4. TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES (On Our Side)
If our platform experiences a service-wide outage that prevents you from accessing your course for a prolonged period, we will extend your access period (e.g., add free days to your subscription). We do not issue cash refunds for temporary technical glitches, server downtimes, or scheduled maintenance.
5. DISSATISFACTION WITH TUTOR
We carefully vet all our tutors to ensure high-quality education. However, if you feel the tutor’s teaching style does not suit you:
- We do not refund already-completed sessions.
- We are happy to assign a different tutor to you for your future remaining sessions (if you purchased a bulk package), provided you notify us before your next booking.
6. EXCEPTIONS (Fraud / Duplicate Payments)
The only circumstance under which a refund (or charge reversal) will be issued is if:
- You are charged twice for the exact same order due to a payment system glitch.
- We are unable to deliver the course you paid for (i.e., the course is permanently taken down and never made available to you).
In these rare cases, you must contact us within 3 days of the transaction.
7. HOW TO REQUEST A REVIEW (Rescheduling or Transfer)
If you need to reschedule a tutoring session or transfer your course access to another student, please contact our support team at: info@easybasicscience.com.
Please include your Order Number and the Name of the Student in your request. Approval of transfers or reschedules is at the sole discretion of Easy Basic Science management.
8. STATUTORY CONSUMER RIGHTS
This “No Refund” policy does not override your statutory rights. If you are located in the EU, UK, or India, and the digital content is faulty, not as described, or does not match the advertised preview, you may be entitled to a repair or replacement of the access, rather than a refund. We comply with all applicable consumer protection laws regarding defective digital goods.
